This large gourd measures 9 1/2" in diameter and stands 10 3/4" tall.  The body of the gourd is dyed with a translucent sienna dye which allows the natural mottling of the gourd to show through.  The front of the gourd is carved in a filigree pattern with the design standing out slightly from the carved areas.  The rim of the gourd is braided with a black leather trim.
