This piece of cherry was painstakingly carved and woodburned (pyrography) before being painted with several layers of acrylic inks.  The inside of the bowl was left untreated to highlight the natural beauty of the wood and contrast with its exterior.  The bowl is 9 3/8" in diameter and 1 1/2" high.
