The tendrils appear to be sprouting from the bulb of this vessel which is turned from Olive wood.  It was carved to give it the beautiful movement and flow.   It was painted with acrylic inks to give it the rick deep color, while allowing the grain to show through.  It is 4 3/4" in diameter and stands 9" high.
