"Curisoity" is a composition consiting of a large art gourd and a fiber sculpture of a kitten. The gourd is textured and painted with acrylic inks.  It is decorated with a leather braid trim and dangling silver beads.  The little kitten is sculped from wool fibers with a barbed needle.  His whiskers are made from horsehair.  He stands 6" high when reclining, 3 1/4" wide and 14 1/4" from paws to tip of his tail.  Because he is sculpted over an aluminum armature, his position can be changed.   I would consider selling the kitten and the gourd separately.  If sold separately, the gourd would cost $175 and the kitten would cost $175.  Please note that fiber sculptures are not toys and should be treated gently.
